Six things to know first.

Online only — via the Submit Abstract form below.

Step 1 — Title.

The title should indicate the abstract content. Write in lower-case (capital letters only at the start of a sentence, abbreviations, study names, or proper nouns).

Do not use authors, institutions, city names, trademarks, special symbols, or uncommon abbreviations in the title.

Step 2 — Body.

→ All abstracts must be submitted in English (UK spelling) with accurate grammar.
→ Abstracts must contain original work — neither published nor presented elsewhere prior.
→ Structure: Background → Introduction → Purpose → Methods → Results → Conclusion(s).
→ Tables/pictures: JPEG/JPG/PNG/GIF, < 1 MB, max 600 × 800 px.
→ Blinded submission — keep names of authors / institutes / hospitals / cities out of title and body.
→ Do not use trademarked drug names. Use generic names only.
→ Refrain from keywords or references inside the abstract — these will be deleted.
→ Limit acronyms; define on first use with the abbreviation in parentheses.
→ Do not include patient photos that allow identification.

Failure to comply may lead to automatic rejection.

Submitting an abstract is a formal agreement to present if accepted. Non-availability without justified withdrawal will jeopardise future acceptance.

Conflict of interest

Disclose all relationships

All participants must disclose any potential conflicts — advisory roles, board positions, honoraria, consulting fees, or grants from related corporations. If none, submit a "No conflict" declaration.

Affirmation of originality & copyright transfer

✓ You authorise SODC to use author names, affiliations, and biographical material in connection with the publication.
✓ The submitter affirms sole authorship and that the work is original — does not infringe any copyright, proprietary, or personal right of any third party.
✓ All factual statements are based on thorough examination and investigation for accuracy.
✓ Abstracts have not been published in other journals or presented at any previous conference.
